I instantly felt a connection with Alesha & Danny when they came in for a consult about their Pop Up *PLUS*. They had some personalization requests that we talked through that I knew were going to be amazing.

They wanted a coffee bar & brunch wedding-featuring chicken & waffles from Uptown Grill in Bay City! So unique!

They brought their own officiant that was a family friend, and had a violinist play music for the ceremony & reception. That was a very cool twist on the traditional DJ or bluetooth speaker.

They wanted to incorporate their golden retriever & black labs (which we also connected on because I have the same dogs!) So they had 2 signature cold brew drinks at the bar and let me tell you-they were a huge hit!! I’ve never had cold brew before that day and I am completely hooked.

On the big day, they gave each other gifts and had their First Look in the bridal suite. You could feel their love for each other throughout the whole day, it was magical.

At the end of the wedding, Alesha requested all the guests line up out front of the venue with their biodegradable confetti cones & wait while they had their first dance inside with just the violinist & photographer. That made for gorgeous photos of their special moment. This was the first confetti exit we’ve done at our venue-we’ll be doing many more, it was so cool! Cars driving by downtown were honking their congratulations and everyone was cheering in pure happiness.

Alesha & Danny are moving to Florida shortly after the wedding and I can only hope to see them again 🙂
